The Kromski Jumbo Flyer Set expands Kromski spinning wheels to spin very thick yarns. With its large orifice opening, robust sliding hooks and matching jumbo bobbins, it is the right tool for bulky to super bulky yarns, art yarns and other voluminous handspun yarns.
Thick Yarns Need More Space
Standard flyers have openings and hooks designed for medium yarn weights. Thick yarns simply don't fit through. The jumbo flyer set solves this problem with a much larger orifice and more widely set hooks. The result: even roughly prepared natural fibres, felted yarns or multiply plied thick yarns can be spun and wound on effortlessly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the set? The set contains flyer, matching jumbo sliding hooks and jumbo bobbins for the respective spinning wheel model.
Can I use the jumbo flyer for standard yarns as well? Technically yes, but the standard flyer offers better control for medium yarn weights. The jumbo flyer is specialised for thick yarns.
