Kromski Sonata Encore Spinning Wheel
The Sonata Encore is Kromski's travel spinning wheel. It folds without tools, weighs 5 kg and fits with its included carry bag into a car boot or overhead compartment. Despite compact dimensions when folded (56 x 50 x 18 cm), it unfolds into a full-size 50 cm wheel with double treadle and magnetic flyer head.
Technically it is the most capable in the Sonata line: the magnetic flyer head allows fast bobbin changes, the double treadle delivers smooth operation during longer spinning sessions. Single Drive with Scotch Tension and Double Drive can be switched at any time. Four standard ratios (5.5:1, 9.5:1, 10.5:1, 15:1) plus optional high-speed and low-speed whorls make it very versatile.
