Lojan Buddy Spinning Wheel: Single Treadle
The Lojan Buddy single treadle is a modern spinning wheel in solid and veneered beech. The wide single treadle board can be operated with one or both feet and makes spinning comfortable over longer sessions. The open flyer lets you thread yarn without using a hook.
Five ratios (1:4, 1:6, 1:9, 1:13, 1:18) with Dutch Tension give good control over yarn draw-in. The bobbin capacity of approx. 200 g per bobbin is generous and reduces bobbin changes on bigger projects. Four bobbins and a Lazy Kate for three bobbins are included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. The simple operation and open flyer make getting started easy.
What is the difference between the single and double treadle?
The wide single treadle board can be used with one or both feet. It is somewhat quieter. For very long sessions or those who prefer a more even motion, the Buddy double treadle is the better choice.
