The Prelude is a classic Saxony-style spinning wheel in a compact format. With a 45 cm wheel diameter and a weight of just 4 kg, it is easy to transport without compromising on spinning performance. The single treadle keeps operation quiet and makes it well suited for beginners, as well as for those who prefer to spin without the double treadle.
Single Drive with Scotch Tension is simple to set up and gives good control over yarn draw-in. Three ratios (6:1, 10.5:1, 13:1) cover medium-fine to thicker yarns. Leather bearings and a brass sleeve ensure smooth, quiet operation.
